General Electric (GE) has been awarded a number of contracts on the Gorgon gas project in Western Australia.
The value of the contracts is more than $1.2 billion Australian dollars.
The contracts were awarded by Chevron and include the supply of 5 turbines to produce power for the project. A number of jobs will be created as a result.
